Web Project Manager Caxy, a web development company specializing in open-source technology is looking to hire a superb project manager with 2 very key qualities: 1) 5 years of experience estimating budgets for, managing development resources for and delivery of web site projects 2) Proven leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to consistently refine and improve a production process, as well as lead staff Responsibilities include: * Superior verbal and written communication skills * Achieving projected gross margin for projects * Managing up to 6 development resources * Main client-facing contact during the project * Estimating future work * Writing proposals and budgets * Leading team meetings * Reporting weekly to CEO on current projects * Managing our helpdesk for existing clients * Continual improvement of our systems Growth and management opportunity for the right candidate. Caxy is a custom web site development company specializing in open source. It is a plus to understand the open-source end of the business, but not critical. What is critical is knowing how to talk the talk when building the sites both externally and internally. Our sites include programming for content management systems, e-commerce. mass emailing and other custom database applications. Our clients span healthcare, higher education, financial services and general e-commerce for a variety of clients.
